The Taking Care Of You While On Insulin course is designed to empower individuals with diabetes to effectively manage their condition by using insulin therapy.

Welcome to Part 1 of the Insulin Therapy course series. This is a three part course on all things insulin therapy composed of educational materials and pre/post tests.

At the end of this course you will be able to understand how to plan healthy snacks when taking insulin, recognize the effects of exercise when taking insulin and identify alcohol effects on blood

At the end of this course you will be able to identify how to inject insulin with a vial and syringe, and using an insulin pen. Identify the four injection sites.

This module will demonstrate how to safely administer (inject) insulin using an insulin pen. As well as the specific techniques to follow.
